I so love being at the ocean. Any weather there is beautiful, but a bright, sunny, slightly breezy, slightly cool day is some version of perfect.
I so love being with my son. No matter what he is going through, whether he's happily advancing through his life's journeys (most of the time), or whether he's being challenged or buffeted by events that are difficult to navigate, I always love being with him. There are few other times that I feel more certain about why I am alive.
To experience both at the same time was for me one of those moments that I want to last forever.
Somehow, I think that might just happen...
